BIOGRAPHY
Chainline was founded in 2017 when musicians from various band projects united with a shared vision: create melodic metal that is both unique and unmistakably our own. Our mission is to craft heavy, catchy, and emotionally resonant music that reflects who we are - raw, real, and relentless.
Over the years, Chainline has evolved from a studio project into a full-fledged live act, known for its intense performances and tight musicianship. Drawing inspiration from Scandinavian melodic death metal, classic heavy metal, and modern progressive elements, our sound blends aggression with atmosphere, melody with power.
Each member brings a distinct musical background, contributing to a dynamic and ever-evolving sonic identity. Lyrically, we explore themes of personal struggle, resilience, and the darker shades of the human experience - always with a sense of honesty and depth.
In the summer of 2025, our longtime drummer stepped aside, making room for Joonas - a young, hungry, and incredibly tight rhythm machine. His energy and precision have injected new life into Chainline's rhythm section, and we're excited to see where this new lineup will take us next.
With multiple releases under our belt and more in the works, Chainline continues to push boundaries while staying true to its roots. Whether on stage or in the studio, our goal remains the same: to connect, to challenge, and to leave a mark.
